Interpretation
Service
Available only for Spanish, Portuguese and select French documents review. With this service documents are not translated. The credential evaluation is completed directly from documents in the original language.

Helpful Answers Before You Apply
General Evaluation: Institutions attended, dates of attendance, degrees awarded, and U.S. equivalency based on the credentials submitted.
Course by Course: Institution attended, dates of attendance, degrees awarded, courses listed as they appear on the transcript along with equivalent U.S. grades and creates, and U.S. equivalency based on the credentials submitted. A GPA is calculated on a U.S. 4.0 scale when that option is selected
Certified Public Accountant: U.S. equivalency of credentials submitted, coursework listed related to accounting and business credit requirements for examination and licensure in Massachusetts.
Each evaluation fee includes one official report and one unofficial copy for your records.
Our standard turnaround time is 7 business days after we receive the completed application, all required documents, and payment. Rush options are available for 4–5 business days (+$50) or 1–2 business days (+$150).
Turnaround times refer to evaluation processing and do not include mailing transit time. CED may verify documents with the issuing institution, which can affect processing time; applicants are notified if verification is needed.
We must receive the documents in the original language along with certified English translations, unless the document is officially issued in English.
If translations are not available, we offer this option at a cost of $35 per page.
Payment is submitted online with the application using a Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover credit or debit card.
Submit diplomas or degree certificates along with academic transcripts. We must receive the documents in the original language along with certified English translations. You may upload documents when completing the application form, or request that you institution issue official documents directly to CED.
Confirm the exact requirement with the admissions office, employer, licensing board, or other recipient.
General: Often used for employment, visa matters, or admission when transfer credit is not required.
Course by Course: Often used for admission with transfer credit, graduate admission, or employment in education.
CPA: For applicants taking the Uniform CPA Examination or seeking licensure in Massachusetts or another state that accepts a CED evaluation.
Complete the online application as a returning applicant. In Step 2, provide the year CED completed your evaluation and select “Additional copy of evaluation previously completed.” The fee is $30 and standard processing is 2–3 business days. One-day rush service is available for an additional $50.
